Need a Roger Moore impression for a commercial, radio promo, comedy script, web video, animation or character voiceover?
I’m Darren Altman, a British voiceover artist and celebrity impressionist. I record Roger Moore-style and James Bond-style vocal impressions for producers, agencies and brands who need a smooth, witty, unmistakably British spy voiceover.
This is a performed vocal impression for recorded scripts, not the real Roger Moore voice, an official James Bond voice, or a lookalike/tribute act service.
Here’s a real example of my Roger Moore impression, recorded for Signal Radio.
It gives you a feel for the tone, warmth and dry delivery I can bring to a script, whether you need a classic British spy flavour, a knowing parody read, or a polished character voice for a commercial campaign.
There are thousands of AI voice tools online, but a commercial script needs more than a voice that simply says the words.
With a human impressionist, you get performance, timing, judgement and direction. I can make the voice more subtle, more comic, more Bond-inspired or more like a presenter. I can also adjust the read around the script and improvise where needed.
That matters when a line needs to land properly. A raised eyebrow, a pause and a knowing smile in the voice can make the performance work. That’s the difference between a flat impersonation and a proper read.
All voiceovers are recorded from my broadcast quality studio using a Neumann U87 microphone. I supply clean, fully edited audio ready for production.
I can record remotely with live direction over Zoom, Teams, Cleanfeed or Source-Connect, or I can record from your script and send finished audio back to you. If the script needs a small tweak to make the impression work more naturally, I can help with that too.
If you need a Roger Moore voiceover, James Bond-style voiceover or a suave British spy voice, get in touch and let’s chat about your project.
I’m happy to record a short custom sample if needed.
